Students, steak and chocolate dessert!
Norfolk based, Flying Kiwi chef, Chris Coubrough, was joined by Arthur Howell & Jean Davis on Friday as they spent the day with a group of children from the Alderman Peel High School, Wells. The children spent 90 minutes at Arthur Howell's butchers shop where they were taught about the lifecycle of meats.
The group then headed back to The Crown Hotel where Chris performed a cookery demonstration for the children, cooking lots of steaks and setting off the fire alarms 5 times, much to the amusement of the customers and children. Jimmy came to the rescue thankfully.
Following the cookery class and lunch, Kel and Chris demonstrated some great chocolate desserts in the afternoon. All in all it was a fun day.

Out and about with our new Food Hero
I spent a rain soaked day with our new food hero, the Allen brothers, pig farmers in South Creake, Norfolk. They gave us a tour of their farm before our photographer took some images amongst their pigs, in the rain.
Look out for the images on our 'Food Hero' page on our website.
