I just wanted to write and say a thank you to the bar/restaurant staff who made four of us very welcome last Saturday evening when we arrived at The Crown Hotel at about 9:15pm asking for some food. We were given very good service and the most delicious food. Well done!

This is the second time we have stayed at The Crown Inn.
We were delighted to find that the extremely high standards that we found on our first visit had not slipped at all.

The decor in the room is clean & good, cleanliness excellent, bathroom still in very good order & the bed wonderfully comfortable & warm.
Our evening meal was equally as good as our first & we think is exceptional.

I think that a business is often as good as its staff & all of the young people & the lady at breakfast that we encountered were friendly & efficient.

Having dined at all of your other 5 restaurants (we previously lived in mid-Norfolk, now at Reydon, Southwold) we were keen to try the Earlham Arms, so visited soon after it opened. Excellent food; we had the chicken and leek pie - historic as Mr. W. would have said, so hope this stays on the menu and service good (Katie most impressive!).

Will visit again when we go to Norwich.

I feel that I must send you this 'email' regarding our visit to the Earlham Arms for Christmas Dinner on Tuesday this week.
My wife, her aunt and I visited and had a meal in your establishment at East Rudham in October and very pleased we were with the meal, service, and welcome we received there, so planning to visit my wife's aunt in Coltishall again for Christmas I rang East Rudham but was informed that you were fully booked but a new venue was just opened in Norwich; namely The Earlham Arms. On ringing them about a week ago and so close to the 25th, we managed to get a booking so were very pleased.

On Christmas Day, we were very pleased with first impressions but when we entered the premises, man o man!! What a surprise!! We could not have been greeted more sincerely by a long lost Uncle returning after 60 years!!

We cannot speak too highly of your staff at "The Earlham", all of them were so polite and helpful from the manageress to the waitresses and bar staff, nothing was too difficult for them to do, and executed with a smile at all times. We have no complaints whatsoever about the food either...food delicious, staff more delicious! Thank you all and we will certainly be visiting when we return in 2013. Until then, we wish you all a very happy and prosperous New Year....Well done.
